We want to make the process of working with us as enjoyable as possible, below you will find how we intend to do this for both parties.
The works to be carried out shall be as set out in the Inbox Creative Ltd quotation for work email.
Email and Telephone will be the method of contact with regards to communication. It is the Client’s responsibility to inform us of any change in their contact details.
Inbox Creative Ltd will acknowledge all emails within 2 working days. Inbox Creative Ltd will endeavour to respond on the same working day although exceptions are possible.
Inbox Creative Ltd will only commence work on a Project after receipt of a non-refundable deposit of the quoted Project Initiation Cost from the Client. Upon final approval of completion of the Project the remaining outstanding balance must be paid in full within 7 days.
Websites will be put Live and Project files shared once the Client’s remaining balance is paid in full.
The deposit paid to Inbox Creative Ltd covers the cost of design work carried out as well as any admin work and communication with Inbox Creative Ltd. The deposit is non refundable.
All websites designed for a Client by Inbox Creative Ltd are designed with Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). Inbox Creative Ltd do not guarantee any specific placement within search engines.
Inbox Creative Ltd can provide a Client with estimated completion date for the Project (live on the internet) if requested. Inbox Creative Ltd always endeavour to meet any given deadlines, but do not guarantee and are not bound in any way to complete the Project by this date due to possible unforeseen circumstances.
Copyright/design rights are passed over to you/the client as soon as the agreed amount for our services has bee paid for in full.
Payment is to be made on time and when requested. To keep our fees as low as possible our payment invoice terms are 7 days. If the invoice is not paid on time the project may be delayed. Website payment terms may vary depending on which package you have signed up for. If a % deposit payment is required the full remaining balance is due once the development website has been signed off prior to launch. Only when full payment is received will your website go live. For any print or logo design work full payment is required before the work is started.
All of our website packages include hosting and service agreements that require a recurring monthly payment. If you no longer require our services for items which require a recurring payment, we require 30 days written notice in order to cancel the service.
DOMAIN NAME RENEWAL FEES
Domain names that have been registered by Inbox Creative Ltd will be renewed unless you give us written notice that the renewal is not required. By renewing a domain name, this means you are liable to pay for any renewal costs. If renewal costs are not settled within 30 days we will transfer ownership of the domain name to Inbox Creative Ltd until costs are settled.
We will always notify you if a project is going to become delayed or run over the given deadline agreed by both parties. Part of completing a project on time is dependent with you the client responding in a timely fashion to any request regarding your project. This may include requests for content, design work, text, images and approval of our work.
To ensure your website is backed up on a regular basis you will need to be signed up to the Premium or Fully Managed hosting package. If you are supplied with with FTP details or direct access to your website files, back-end system and a mistake is made on your part which requires data to be restored there will be a charge for this.
We take every precaution to protect you and your clients against data protection related issues. Due to the nature of the Internet we cannot guarantee your data is protected 100%, however we will always notify you if we believe our systems have become compromised. No financial data is ever stored on our website or any website we create including yours. Data which is stored can include; customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, postcodes, postal addresses, email subscription preferences and other information which may be submitted by a third party through any website form (including booking forms, contact forms and online quote forms).
Downtime is the term given when a hosted solution such as a website or email system is off-line or not functioning. We take every step to minimise the risk of downtime which includes using the latest server technology, reliable hosting companies and ensuring our systems are well managed and up-to-date. However due to the nature of the internet and using a third party hosting company, there are times when we do not have control over what is happening and therefore cannot guarantee 100% uptime. If a website or email service is down for any period of time we accept no liability for loss of data or loss of earnings. However, you can be assured we will always prioritise downtime related issues to minimise disruption to your business.
MAINTENANCE & ONGOING SUPPORT
If you choose to sign up to our Basic hosting package we are not obliged to perform core security updates to your site which could affect security. By signing up to our premium or fully managed packages we will carry out any core WordPress/plugin updates quarterly so your website software is kept up to date and is therefore less likely to be compromissed. If you signed up for our fully managed website hosting package we endeavour to make any changes your request within 48 hours.
CROSS TESTING BROWSER
It is your responsibility to ensure that any content, statements, advice or views found on your website comply with any local, national or international laws. Although we will rectify any spelling mistakes, typos and errors found on your website, we take no responsibility for any such items found on your website and there may be a charge to make adjustments once the site has gone live if the issue in question was not created by us (this would typically include content which has been submitted for use by you, which then needs changing due to errors once the website has gone live).
If you wish to cancel a project we require 30 days written notice. If you choose to cancel a project any money paid to Inbox Creative Ltd is nonrefundable.
